Victor Fisher — Real Estate Consultant

Victor Fisher is a founding partner at Vision Real Estate one of the largest independent brokerages in Marin County. Vision Real Estate has offices in Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Sonoma County and San Francisco. Victor brings with him a wealth of professional skills from previous careers as a photojournalist, photo editor, and media executive.

As the Supervising Photo Editor for the Associated Press, Victor was part of the photo staff awarded the Pulitzer Prize three times. He was responsible for directing photo coverage of breaking news events around the world, and covered such high profile events as the Olympics in Lillehammer, The OJ Simpson Trial, and The World Trade Center bombing. These experiences provided him with the ability to listen, to ask the right questions, and to be the best at what he does. These are the skills that distinguish Victor as a superior real estate agent.

In the late 1990s, Victor moved to California to join the high tech industry. He became the Media Editor at Microsoft for their online arts and entertainment guide, forming the visual department from the ground-up. Victor also worked with several Internet start-ups, experiencing first-hand the irrational exuberance of the period followed by its eventual economic sobering.

The skill sets gleaned in these two professions have dovetailed into the field of real estate. “By dedicating myself to my clients,” states Victor, “I am making a difference in their lives.”

Victor resides in Sausalito with his wife Holly and their two children. He is a founding partner of Vision Real Estate, on the Arts Commission for the City of Sausalito, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and is on the Technology Board for the Marin Association of Realtors.

Devon was born in San Francisco and has been a San Rafael resident since 1995. Her passion for the quality of life in Marin is what makes her enthusiastic about the market here.

Prior to joining Vision Real Estate Group, she processed loans at Inter-Bay Financial in San Francisco where she gained valuable mortgage and escrow experience. Devon has a very close relationship with her mother, a broker who shares 25 years of knowledge in the real estate business.

Devon has many years of experience in the spa industry working as a manager and esthetician. Her dedication to serving and caring for others is something that has brought her joy over the years. She studies Indian classical music and dance, loves cooking for friends and hiking Marin trails.

Finding the Right House
Our schedule is the type which may change at any moment. Victor and his team were very patient as we tried to find the house we had hoped for. As soon as they had ascertained what we were looking for, they were easy to contact and quick to respond to our requests about houses we had seen online.

The Contract Negotiating Process
Victor was willing to take the hard line we wanted to take during our negotiating process. He steered us in the right direction, and were ready-to-go – even late into the night – to make sure our contract negotiation was successful. Escrow
As we hadn’t purchased a home before, we were surprised by the amount of paperwork which comes with purchasing a home. The team were incredibly helpful in not only making sure this paperwork was signed and delivered, but provided us with a specific timeline to ensure that the house we wanted didn’t slip away.

Inspections
Victor recommended specific inspectors, organized times, and one member of the team was even present for each inspection. It was calming to know that when we couldn’t make an appointment, someone else would be there to represent us.

Close of Escrow
The day we closed Escrow, we were actually on vacation. This may show the trust level built during this process.

Moving In
When we had our new home, we still had the issue of working with the sellers (now our new tenants.) The team stayed with us, and organized every time we had to visit the house, be it with the painters, movers, or cable guys. They were with us until the last day, and it made the transition so much easier.
